2. Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email address, company (optional).
• Billing information: processed and stored by Stripe; we store a customer reference only.
• Specification inputs: the content of the specs you submit for manufacturing.
• Usage data: manufacturing run counts, timestamps, agent activity, and error logs.
• Technical data: IP address, browser user agent, request metadata (for security and abuse prevention).

3. How We Use Information

We use your information to deliver and improve the Service, to bill you, to prevent fraud, and to communicate with you about your account. We do not sell personal information.

4. Legal Basis (GDPR)

For customers in the EU, we process personal data under the following legal bases: performance of contract (to deliver the Service), legitimate interest (security and abuse prevention), and consent (optional marketing communications — opt-in, easily withdrawn).

5. Sub-processors

We share data with the following sub-processors, each under a data processing agreement:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Wise — bank transfer handling
• AI model providers — agent inference
• Cloud infrastructure providers — hosting and delivery

6. Data Retention

We retain account data for the life of your account and for up to 12 months after closure for billing and legal compliance. Specification inputs are retained only as long as needed to deliver the manufactured artifact and are deleted on request.

7. Your Rights

EU (GDPR): access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

California (CCPA): right to know, right to delete, right to opt out of sale (we do not sell), right to non-discrimination.

8. International Transfers

LowlandTech is based in the United States. For EU customers, personal data transferred outside the EEA is protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as approved by the European Commission.

9. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive fields, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; promptly report any suspected breach to us.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at users under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be emailed to registered users at least 14 days before taking effect.
